BARCOM: HEAT RECOVERY TECHNOLOGY
Recovering energy that was previously lost is now a decisive factor in industrial efficiency. Barcom, a company belonging to the LB Technology group, develops systems capable of transforming heat from kilns and firing fumes into useful energy, reintroducing it into the production process.
The hot air, normally expelled from chimneys, is intercepted and used to power spray-driers and dryers at temperatures of 160–180 °C, reducing fuel consumption and generating savings of up to 30% per year.
Independent control and dedicated software constantly monitor the system, making it compatible with new and existing plants. Barcom also integrates heat exchangers designed specifically for the characteristics of each plant, ensuring continuity and high performance. This is a concrete approach to energy optimisation and sustainability in industrial processes.
