LB FOR THE NEW PORTOBELLO USA PLANT
Portobello is the best-known Brazilian ceramic group in the world, one of the largest producers in terms of square meters / year.
As a long-time client, Portobello has signed with LB an agreement for a supply linked to the new production plant under construction in the United States.
The project, ambitious and of considerable impact, will be developed in two phases.
Specifically, LB will provide in the first phase:
– a complete line for the recovery of fired waste (chamotte grinding)
– a complete line of spray-dried material storage and feeding to the presses
– three dry colouring lines with the latest generation Easy Color Boost system
This is a completely new project in a very receptive market as regards medium-large ceramic products (from 300×600 to 1200×1200 cm.).
The customer was looking for a reliable and versatile partner with internationally recognized skills in the handling of powders, able to follow him carefully at all stages, from design to start-up.
The presence of the LB branch on the American territory has played a further point in favour of our company, thanks to the service that the same can guarantee directly on site.
The plant will start with production by summer 2023.
