LB SEMINAR ENERGY SAVING / CIRCULAR ECONOMY – TUNIS, 06/11/19
On November 6, 2019 the seminar on NEW TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY organized by LB was held in Tunis.
In the context of “energy saving”, Alberto Militare, LB sales manager of the Maghreb area and moderator of the event, presented the concept of reusable waste in ceramic production, as well as in the dry mortar and fertilizer industry, made possible thanks to the innovative technologies of LB.
The seminar featured a panel involving representatives of the Tunisian national bodies, such as Mr. Mohamed Gharsallah, chief manager of CTMCCV (Technological Centre for Building Materials, Ceramics and Glass) which reports directly to the Tunisian Ministry of Industry, and Mr. Ramzi Salhi, head of the Industrial Energy Efficiency Management, part of ANME (National Agency for Energy Management).
Furthermore, Mr. Taieb Ketari, historical partner of LB and general manager of the Tunisian ceramics Carthago, presented the data relating to energy saving achieved thanks to the new LB technologies installed at the Sfax plant.
The seminar awakened great interest on the part of companies and entrepreneurs of the Maghreb area, given the importance of reducing waste production and CO2 emissions and of reusing industrial materials in an energy-saving and economic way.
