LB WINS THE TENDER FOR THE ALLOCATION OF THE ASSETS DERIVED FROM BANKRUPTCY PROCEEDINGS OF CMF TECHNOLOGY S.P.A.

The proceeding concerns the acquisition of all the CMF technologies rights by LB of every intangible asset: patents, software and company’s know-how, including technical drawings of every machinery produced by CMF and the Spiller system.

The patents which become part of the LB technologies held concerning feeding and distribution devices: machineries for the preparation and the distribution of powders to produce full-thickness large size tiles, stations for layer feeding of powdered ceramic materials in press moulds, plants for sorting ceramic products and plants for storing facilities.

The Spiller 2.0 technology becomes part of the rights of LB industrial properties: it allows transferring and maintaining a graphic effect created using a fixed screen of atomized powders from the work surface of the machinery to the feeding conveyor of a production line for large size tiles. The Spiller technology has shown relevant performances on process reliability, repeatability of the results over the time and control of powders graphic development with the possibility to achieve synchronized veins movements in every direction.

The assets acquisition of CMF technology is part of the development of the new LB Company’s direction and increasingly aims to customize the technological offer and service as critical success factors according to the new industrial plan.

In line with the “customer oriented” logic, which characterizes LB Technology, starting from September 1st 2021 LB will also carry out all the activities related to the service, spare parts and after-sale activities on CMF plants all around the world.

Acquiring new patents and expanding the range of technologies means for LB not only having available many of the existing technologies on the market and making innovation, but also having an approach oriented to the value creation in the whole productive process, according to the customer needs and supplying appropriate and tailor-made technological solutions.
