ROADSHOW "BACK TO NATURE" – AFTER BRASIL, LB WORKSHOPS STOP IN INDIA AND CHINA
After the success of Rio Claro (Brazil) in March, the road show 2014 LB has touched India and China: on May 12th at Morbi, Gujarat (India), was organized a workshop dedicated to the presentation of innovative technological processes”FREESTILE”, for the production of the latest generation technical porcelain tile, and “MIGRATECH” for dry grinding and micro-granulation of ceramic bodies; replied on 23rd of May, during the last edition of Ceramics China in Guangzhou. In this occasion LB had over 100 participants. The aim of the seminars organized by LB was to communicate a number of important technological innovations to the technicians of the most important ceramic districts in the world.
The CEO of the LB Group – Emilio Benedetti – opened both symposia focusing on some strategic issues: “We are constantly in touch with customers from all over the world and we are facing more and more a growing request of flexibility as for production, energy savings, working times reduction, plant layout improvements, chances to upgrade and distinguish the technical and aesthetic value of the product. Our answer to these requests is surely resumed by the technologies concerning the microgranulation and the innovative solutions for the press charging. Basically, we are presenting the results of a continuous activity on R&D and our long lasting experience in the ceramic sector. Workshop and international exhibitions are undoubtedly the best locations where to meet our customers, partners and showing them all the LB innovations.”
Gianluca Sbrana – Area Manager (India) – explained the features and functionality of these new processes, providing also a preview of the system FREESTILE. The dry coloring standards, which EASY COLOR system (patented by LB) has set over the last 15 years in the production of technical porcelain tile, will be further enhanced by this new process, which will have its world premiere during Tecnargilla 2014. The new press feeder DIVARIO, at the heart of FREESTILE process, ensures a great versatility thanks to the absolute flexibility of the powders loading system designed by LB.
Objective n° 1: ceramic product technically and aesthetically excellent, unique and inimitable.
Objective n° 2: greater production efficiency and plant flexibility.
Mr. Sbrana says: “I was pleased with the interest and attention of the Indian public, who actively participated by asking questions about the productive potential and advantages of our system compared to the existing press feeding system. We did not hesitate to point out the principles on which we based our research: quality, reduction of production costs, but especially great flexibility of the system: double loading, single loading and ability to realize products “nice face down” with a singlepress feeder. In addition the energy savings, easy to use and the endless possibilities for customization of the finished product, thanks to the various kits that can be accommodated on DIVARIO.”
Roberto Santini – Area Manager (China) – has brought the same news to the public of Ceramics China, which has expressed a great interest in FREESTILE technology, proving to be ready for a technology that combines a greater potential aestheticproduction and a significant reduction of the costs of management and maintenance. As the Indian public, even the Chinese engineers have also devoted great attention to MIGRATECH technology for dry grinding and micro-granulation of ceramic bodies, allowing to produce great quality formats, dramatically reducing energy costs and environmental impact. In terms of energy savings, based on the experiences of production carried out on different ceramics types, it was revealed an average energy saving higher than 50% compared to traditional technologies, resulting in lower CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
Mr. Santini says: “Our workshop has undoubtedly been a great success. Several questions from the audience were aimed to investigate aspects of the technology of double loading DIVARIO, coloring and dry grinding + microgranulation. The tileswe showed during the presentation captured the interest and the curiosity of all our guests. Saving energy and environmental impact issues are beginning to gain attention even in areas of the world that seemed to be less sensitive than Western markets. Entrepreneurs and Chinese technicians have appreciated the level of innovation led by our technologies. Among the audience were managers and production managers of top companies like Ocean, Monalisa, Eagle, Kito, Dongpeng, Marco Polo, Gani, Sanfi, as well as new brands and producers from the areas of Shandong and Fujian “.
