UNIMORE IN LB: LESSON WITHIN THE MASTER’S DEGREE COURSE IN MATERIALS ENGINEERING
Yesterday, Wednesday 13 November, a lesson of the UNIMORE degree course in Materials Engineering, module “Process and technology management in the ceramic industry” was held in LB.
Always attentive to the production needs of companies, the main drivers of LB’s research and development activities are economic and environmental sustainability.
Doctor Lorenzo Battaglioli, LB product specialist, was the teacher for the part relating to “Dry grinding, automation and energy consumption”. He illustrated LB grinding technologies to the audience of students. These technologies are the result of careful and continuous research which, over the years, has made the company a global point of reference in the ceramic sector and in the treatment of raw materials in general.
Sensitive to the theme of the professional growth of young people and open to exchange experiences between schools, universities, training institutions and the world of work, it was a pleasure and an honour for LB to host the UNIMORE students at the Fiorano headquarters and be protagonist of this educational initiative.
We thank Professor Cristina Silingardi of UNIMORE, Doctor Rossella Garbellotto of ACIMAC and Mr Claudio Avanzi for allowing us once again to involve students in the LB world.
