LBʾS NEW DEAL IN BANGLADESH WITH AKIJ GROUP
Already present on the Bangladesh market, LB signed an agreement for the supply of 2 Divario press feeders, 2 Marbletech kits and 2 Chipper kits to the company Akij last October.
The new technologies will be installed at Mukkhorpur plant in the Mymensingh District and will be started up by March 2020 for the production of 60×60 double-charge technical porcelain tiles with a high aesthetic effect and, in the future, of 80×80 tiles with different types of product.
The Akij Group, probably the largest and the most important group of companies in Bangladesh, has selected LB to confirm their leadership also in the production of tiles, a business sector that places them among the most important companies in the country, with annual turnover for the ceramic sector alone of Euro 37,000,000 and production facilities on the territory of Bangladesh.
