LB STRENGTHENS ITS MANAGEMENT TO FACE THE NEW CHALLENGES IN A CHANGED MARKET

Fiorano Modenese, May 12th 2020. The LB group informs that on May 5th 2020 Ing. Gianni Dini was appointed as chief executive office of the group.

Gianni Dini, manager with specific management skills and a strict approach to the management controlling, has worked as a top manager for industrial groups of the Made in Italy with premises in Italy and abroad, finalizing projects of profitability recovery and company reorganization.The change in the management was decided within the path taken in the last years by the LB group, speeding up the necessary transition from a family run company to a managerial organization to catch challenges and opportunities in the recently changed market conditions. This decision doesn’t imply any change in the shareholding structure: the Ligabue family remains within the company with Edoardo as manager and as member of the board of directors.Ing. Dini declares: “In a particularly complex period, where new variables also not directly related to the business must be taken into account, the industrial processes related to the financial management become essential for the companies of any dimension. The three –year industrial plan 2020-2022 will ride the new mechanical technologies as well as the digital ones; this, thanks to huge investments and to the human factor that will be enhanced with a strong commitment to the training and allowing the client to use in a flexible way all the available physical and remote channels. We will keep on monitoring the costs, despite the huge investments in innovation for the ceramic world and other business fields. The company shall rely upon asset and structural indexes able to grant the usual financial strength, using at the same time important flexibility elements.
